These two volumes contain transcripts, possibly contemporary, of reports of the Commissioners of Trade and Plantations of the Board of Trade in Great Britain. The reports are dated 1702-1707 and were reprinted in the Bulletin of the New York Public Library, vol. 10 pages 271-278 and vol. 11 pages 469-497 less

Includes the following mss note: "This is the rarest of all Josiah Tucker's writings, only a few copies being printed 'as mss.' for circulation and correction by personal friends of the author. . . This copy was sent by him to Dr. Secker, archbishop of Canterbury, and is full of both his and the author's mss. notes. . . As originally printed the work was entitled 'The elements of commerce, the theory of taxes' but in this copy Tucker has altered it to'The moral and political theory of trade and taxes.'
