Scope and arrangement
The Vic Stornant papers are arranged in eight series:

Series I, “Choreographic Notes,” contains drafts for the works Rites, Black-Silver-Gold, Living Flame of Love, Dragon,and Poems.

Series II, “Company,” contains details of the administration of the Vic Stornant Dance Theater, such as fee schedules; lists of board of directors, staff, dancers; a press release; tax-exempt organization certification; correspondence; and biographical material.

Series III, “Reviews,” contains reviews, largely from Attitude, New York Times, The Villager,and Dance Magazine.

Series IV, “Costume and Make-up,” contains design-related information and make-up drawings, with particular information on the works Ritesand Dragon.

Series V, “Light Plots and Technical Information,” contains information on lighting hook-ups, technical requirements, and lighting designs.
