Isadora Bennett (1900-1980) was a publicist specializing in the promotion of American dance, theatre, and music productions. The Isadora Bennett collection of scripts consist of seven scripts from theatre productions staged on Broadway between 1949 and 1957. Some scripts have manuscript annotations. Scripts include Double in Hearts by Paul Nathan; Inherit the Wind by Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee; The Mad Woman of Chaillot (originally Folle de Chaillot) by Jean Giraudoux; Miss Lonelyhearts by Howard Teichmann; A Roomful of Roses by Edith Sommer Soderberg; The Square Root of Wonderful by Carson McCullers; and This is Goggle by Bentz Plagemann.
