Scope and arrangement
The Harriet Lundgaard Papers consist primarily of scripts for Ted Malone's radio programs, which were aired over the American Broadcasting Company's network. The Ted Malone Show, which was also known at various times as Between the Bookends and A Broadcast, was a program devoted to readings of poetry and prose, usually accompanied by background music. The scripts in the collection coincide with the periods Lundgaard worked for Malone, 1946-1948 and 1951-1958. Malone occasionally read letters from listeners on the air, and some of this mail is included in the collection. There is also personal correspondence between members of Harriet Lundgaard's family.
The Harriet Lundgaard papers are arranged in two series:
-
1923-19541 box, 5 folders
The correspondence is primarily between members of the Lundgaard family. Many of the letters are from Charlotte Lundgaard to her husband, Ivar, during a short period of time in 1923 when Charlotte was away from home. These letters elucidate the relationship between Charlotte and Ivar, Harriet's parents.

1946-1948, 1951-19583 boxes
