Scope and arrangement
The Bambi Vawn Papers consist of business correspondence, autobiographical materials, clippings, photographs, and seven editions of the periodical Cavalcade of Burlesque.
The Bambi Vawn papers are arranged in three series:

This series consists of a small amount of business correspondence regarding Ms. Vawn's appearances on the following television shows: Imus [1978], David Susskind [1985], and Sally Jessie Raphael [1989] (includes transcript) and her participation in a revue in Japan [1977]. Also included is the call sheet for her appearance as a day player in the motion picture Arizona Dream.

This series includes autobiographical materials, clippings, a 1969 This Was Burlesque program, publicity and performance photographs of Vawn [1967-1991], three photos of burlesque theaters, and a photo of Abbott and Costello and Ben Moore signed by Moore.

Seven editions of the periodical Cavalcade of Burlesque make up this series. These include introductions by Abbott and Costello, Robert Alda, Phil Silvers, Bert Lahr, James Barton, Jackie Gleason, and Sophie Tucker.
