The collection contains live recordings of performances of The St. Cecilia Chorus. The earliest recording in the collection is from 1967, and the latest (as of completion of this finding aid, in 2006) is from 2005. Most of the performances took place in Carnegie Hall, with a few in The Church of the Heavenly Rest and St. Bartholomew's Church. All performances are conducted by David Randolph, the chorus's music director. The collection also contains two oral histories of the Chorus with David Randolph; an interview with the playwright, Peter Shaffer; as well as recordings relating to Randolph's career both with the St. Cecilia Chorus and prior endeavors.
