Scope and arrangement
Chiefly music scores, including holographs, copyists' manuscripts, and published music. Besides scores, there are brief biographical sketches in Russian and English (JPB 92-61 no. 88) ; an essay by Lourié (Our march) on Russian futurism with some notes on his composition, Nash marsh (JPB 92-61 no. 87) ; a small box of notes chiefly in Russian on filing cards (JPB 92-61 no. 88) ; and 1 folder of librettos and synopses of operas and other textual material relating to Lourié's vocal works (JPB 92-61 no. 68). Scores are cataloged separately in the Scores file. 1 reel-to-reel tape has been separated from the collection and transferred to the Rodgers and Hammerstein Archives of Recorded Sound.
