Donn Byrne (1889-1928) was an Irish novelist whose real name was Brian Oswald Donn-Byrne. He worked as a journalist in New York City and wrote popular stories and novels based on Irish tales. Collection consists of correspondence and writings of Byrne. Includes his letters, 1908-1928, written chiefly to Blanche Colton Williams, O.K. Liveright and others, concerning Byrne's writings and personal matters; correspondence, 1939-1941, of Winthrop Wetherbee, Jr., of Boston, relating to Byrne; and original manuscripts, typescripts and translations of Byrne's short stories and one poem.
