Charles Henry Browning (1846-1926), a professional genealogist, edited "The American Historical Register" and wrote Americans of Royal Descent. Collection consists of Browning's research notes, correspondence and copies of "The American Historical Register". Volumes of the Register are interspersed with typescripts and manuscripts of authors, letters and information about the magazine.
