The Tresca Memorial Committee was formed in 1943 after the assassination of Carlo Tresca, the Italian anti-fascist. The committee conducted memorial meetings in honor of Tresca and supplied materials to researchers. Collection consists of correspondence, memoranda, financial papers, typescript of Tresca's autobiography, and printed matter relating to the Tresca Memorial Committee. Office files, 1944-1956, include correspondence and other records of the committee. Also, carbon typescript of Autobiography by Carlo Tresca; scrapbook of newsclippings, 1943-1944; and scattered issues of Italian and English newspapers, 1938-1962.
