Scope and arrangement
Collection consists of letters to and from Alexis Lapteff (1921-1988), his article about American Relief Administration work in Ufa, Russia 1921-1923, memoir by V. Novikov (both in Russian), clippings, photographs, documents, postcards made by Lapteff, notebook with poetry. Collection includes also publications such as The Michigan architect-and-engineer, 1937; Women's City Club, Detroit, 1938-1952; Znamia Rossii [The Flag of Russia], 1972; ARA Association Review; Soglasie [Consent], Bulletin of the Association of Russian Imperial Naval Officers in America, #6, 7 (1976), 8 (1977), 15 (1980), 17 (1982); a book Dreams... dreams... by Viktor Mort with author's autograph. Most materials are in Russian.
