Lizanne Truex (née Elizabeth Ann Williams, 1931-2013), was known for her work in the movies, most recognizably Oklahoma. Early in her career, she joined the Agnes De Mille Dance Theatre. Truex also appeared in stage productions such as Can Can and Monte Proser's Tropicana Revue. The Lizanne Truex papers, dated 1953 to 1961, and 2007, hold mostly memorabilia from her screen and stage work including playbills from the Agnes De Mille Dance Theatre and Can Can; a biographical sketch by Larry Billman, and photograph copies from stage productions.
