Scope and arrangement
· Holograph poem, "Ode to the Passions" : [no date] : (MISC 4331) : 2 pages (single sheet) : [no place] : begins, "Ye great rulers of mankind, who domineer over the soul . . . ." Along with a [proof?] print of the title page of his Poetical, Supplicating, Modest, and Affecting Epistle to those Literary Colossuses, the Reviewers (1778), with printed slip correcting the motto.
· Holograph notations, variant titles for his "Island of Innocence" : [circa 1802] : (MISC 4332) : 3 pages (2 double sheets) : [no place] : in ink on blue-gray wrappers which probably once contained the manuscript of the poem.
· Holograph poetical fragments : [watermark = 1803] : (MISC 4333) : 2 pages (2 single sheets) : [no place] : begins, "Elegy - I feel my folly: I have pour'd too much . . . .".
· Autograph signature on manuscript money order : 29 May 1806 : (MISC 4334) : 1 page (single sheet) : from London : for John Walker, bookseller, to pay Charles Spilsbury £9.9.6. With signature on the verso of "Rob. Saunders," receiving for Spilsbury.
· To Richard Phillips, Esq. at Woodlands, near Swansea, Wales : 1 autograph letter signed "J: Wolcot" : 23 May 1796 : (MISC 4330) : 3 pages (double sheet) : from London, Chapel Street no. 1, Portland Place : begins, "A gentleman whose name is Campbell, wishes to have a picture or two of Old [?] Rednose . . . .".
· To William Shield, composer : 1 autograph note signed "J: W" : "Monday Morn.g" [circa 1800?] : (G'ANA 0043) : 1 page (single sheet) : [no place] : body reads in full, "Pray dine with me at ¹/₂ past four & Curran and Godwin will be of the party.".
