The Black Theology Project (BTP) was an interdenominational organization founded in 1976 under the leadership of Reverend Charles Spivey, M. Shawn Copeland, and Reverend Muhammad Kenyatta, among others. The collection consists of nineteen audio recordings primarily of the BTP's third national convocation in 1986, as well as the 1984 convocation, activities, and worship services led by members of the organization. less
