Depicted are Diablos, Judios, Machetes, Matlachines, Moros, Tecuantes, Tejorones, and Tlacololero dancers participating in Carnavals, Corpus Christi festivals, Dia de Muertos and Holy Week observances, fiestas, and parties in various Mexican States such as Guerrero, Michoacan, Oaxaca, Tlaxcala, and Zacatecas. The photos were exhibited at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, by the Dance Collection (now Jerome Robbins Dance Division) in 1993 and the poster is included in the collection. less
