Register of the chancery of the consulate of France in the United States in New York City, which had jurisdiction in the states of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, with entries dated July 26, 1784-March 4, 1795. The first consul was St. Jean de Crèvecour, whose signature last appears on May 10, 1785.
