Scope and arrangement
This is a synthetic collection consisting of manuscripts, typescripts, galley proofs, correspondence, and notebooks dating from 1966 to 1968. The manuscripts and typescripts include essays, poems, stories, and miscellaneous material by the author, as well as typewritten works of, and galley proofs for, Martin Booth, Anselm Hollo, Charles Olson, John Perlman and James Weil with Corman's manuscript emendations. The correspondence consists of letters from the author, dating from 1951 to 1983, to Franco Beltrametti, his brother and sister-in-law Dr. Leonard and Doris Corman, James L. Weil, and others, as well as letters relating to the author, dating from 1957 to 1968, from Louis Zukofsky to Babette Deutsch, and letters from miscellaneous correspondents to Corman, dating from 1966 to 1971. There are letters to Corman from Lorine Niedecker and James Weil, dating from 1960 to 1967.
