Scope and arrangement
The Frederick Jacobi collection contains private recordings made for the composer of his own works, as well as recordings of his wife performing works by other composers.
The recordings frequently feature Jacobi and/or his wife as performers.
Also included is a performance of Ernest Bloch's Schelomo, arranged for two pianos and cello featuring Gerald Warbur on cello and Irene and Frederick on pianos; a piano concerto by J.C. Bach, and a rondo by Mozart.

The series consists of compositions by Jacobi. Included are several performances by Frederick Jacobi and Irene Jacobi. Other performers included in the series are: Adele Marens; NBC Symphony Orchestra; Pro Arte Quartet, and Sally Pestcoe.
Some of the conductors included in the series are: Howard Hanson; Frederick Jacobi, and Alexander Smallens.
The series consists of compositions by composers other than Jacobi.
