William Frederick Allen (1846-1915) was an American editor, civil engineer and railroad expert. Collection consists of correspondence, circulars, broadsides, reports, maps, government documents, lists, pamphlets, and other papers relating to the movement that led to the establishment of a national system of standard railway time.
