Michael Strong (1918-1980) was an American film, theatre, and television actor. Strong was an originating company member of the Repertory Theater of Lincoln Center and appeared in the films Point Blank and Patton. The Michael Strong papers date from 1951 to 1980 and contain biographical sketches, incoming letters, clippings, contracts, theatre programs, photographs, and obituaries. Photographs include production shots from films, promotional photos for theatre productions, and headshots. Oversized photographs from the film Patton are housed separately. Letters are from Strong's directors, writers, and fellow actors, including Elia Kazan, S.N. Behrman, and Montgomery Clift. All letters are photocopied duplicates.
