Randahl Hoey (born Errol Randahl Hoey) is an American theatre, opera, and television director. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, he worked in Los Angeles, where he also taught acting workshops at the Actors Center of Los Angeles. The Randahl Hoey papers contain programs, fliers, clippings, and production photographs that document Hoey's directorial and teaching work from 1981 to 1998. Clippings consist of reviews of Hoey's productions as well as advertisements for productions and acting classes he taught. Most of the programs and fliers in the collection originate from Hoey's work in Los Angeles-area theatres, but also include theatre and opera productions in San Diego, California; Portland, Oregon; Edmonton, Alberta; Anchorage, Alaska; Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Hoey's workshops and classes held at the Actors Center of Los Angeles are well documented through fliers and advertisements, as well as a student's letter to the Actors Center discussing the content of one of Hoey's courses.
