The Richard Sisson research materials (1921-2002) concern actors Evelyn Brent and Dwight Marfield. The bulk of the collection relates to Brent and her work in silent film. Materials about Brent include Sisson's research notes, his correspondence about Brent and her career, incomplete draft manuscripts for a biography of Brent, clippings, and publicity material. There is one photograph of Brent in 1971. The collection also contains audio recordings of an interview with Brent. Dwight Marfield material consists mostly of fliers and announcements that Marfield created for his performances and art shows in the 1950s and 1960s. There is also a short note from Marfield and a photograph of him from 1958.
