Scope and arrangement
The Jeffery K. Neill papers date from 1938 to 1995 and contain production files and personal papers, including those of musical director Wendell Kindberg, who Neill frequently worked with.
Production files contain programs, photographs, scripts, scores, stage plans, company lists, notes, and promotional materials for Neill's productions. The files are arranged alphabetically by production title or company, with thorough documentation of Neill's Tibbits Opera Theatre and All Souls Players productions. Some files may contain only programs or promotional material. The best-represented titles include Company, Can-Can, 1776, Guys and Dolls, Anything Goes, and The King and I.
Neill's personal papers consist of legal documentation of his name change, a high school diploma, personal photographs, and certificates of appreciation. The personal papers of Wendell Kindberg include family photographs, headshots, resumes, and printed ephemera, such as high school play programs and Boy Scout membership cards.
