Scope and arrangement
Richard Barraclough papers contain promotional materials used as research for writing celebrity profiles and film reviews in the 1980s. The music files consist of newspaper and magazine clippings with information about bands and band members, biographies, photographs, and tour dates. The film and television materials include press releases, clippings, biographies, resumes, interviews, cast photographs (black and white promotional photographs and color slides), and synopses of television shows and films. The collection also contains some correspondence from publicity agents to Barraclough and his editorial colleague at Hip Hop Magazine, Brandon Judell.
