Scope and arrangement
The Everett Redd photographs date approximately from the 1940s through the 1990s. The photographs are divided into Personal and Motorcycle Club files. The collection holds loose prints, negatives, and scrapbooks.
Personal photographs include loose prints and a scrapbook. Images depict Redd in Army uniform, his family, funerals, and vacations to the Hoover Dam, Florida, and Las Vegas in the 1980s. There are also some photographs of the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.
The Motorcycle Club photographs represent the majority of the collection. These images portray Redd's participation in gatherings hosted by various Motorcycle Clubs, such as the Tropical Inn. Most of the loose prints and negatives are from the 1980s, and are arranged alphabetically by type of event. Events include award ceremonies, dances, funerals, parties, rallies, and weddings. The scrapbooks compile photographs of Redd and club members in the 1960s through the 1990s.
