Sweet Love, Bitter is an independent film directed by Herbert Danska in 1967, and written by Danska and Lewis Jacobs. The film is based on the novel Night Song (1955), written by John Williams and inspired by the life of jazz saxophonist Charlie "Bird" Parker.
