In 1964 Tom Dunn founded The Universal Coterie of Pipe Smokers and its publication, The Pipe Smoker's Ephemeris (TPSE). Mr. Dunn published The Pipe Smoker's Ephemeris from his home in Queens, New York. The Pipe Smoker's Ephemeris began as a small, hand typed journal in 1964. The Pipe Smoker's Ephemeris (T.P.S.E.) papers consist of the original work-ups for the printing of T.P.S.E. by the publisher and general editor Tom Dunn. The collection consists of news clippings, original artwork, collector's directories, and original copies of T.P.S.E. The collection spans from Spring of 1965 to Winter/Spring 2005.
