"34 Years of Hell," an account of the life of Henri de Boin, including his enlistment in the French Foreign Legion in April 1905, his court martial and subsequent banishment to the penal colony at Devil's Island, French Guiana, his twenty-one unsuccessful attempts at escape, his ultimate escape to the Bahamas, and his involvement with the murder of Sir Harry Oakes at Nassau, the Bahamas, in 1943.
