Include copies of published genealogical works annotated by Cockayne, with numerous notes and letters from genealogists inlaid. Included are Burke's Genealogical History of Extinct and Dormant Baronetcies (1844, 1883) and Genealogical and Heraldic Dictionary of the Peerage and Baronetage of the British Empire (1841); Courthope's Synopsis of the Extinct Baronetage of England (1835), and Pixley's History of the Baronetage (1900).
