Papers include letters and clippings, dated 1915-1918, received by Dr. Saram Richard Ellison concerning a pamphlet Epes W. Sargent published about him. Many of these letters are from magicians. The pamphlet, published in 1915, is alternately called "Saram R. Ellison" and "M. M. M. M. M.," and concerns Dr. Ellison and his collection of books on magic in the New York Public Library. These materials were formerly bound in a scrapbook titled "What They Say About M. M. M. M. M." Ellison's autograph book, dated 1896-1916, is also among the papers and includes autographs and notes from many magicians, including Harry Houdini
