Elizabeth Buehrmann was a photographer active from 1900 through the 1960s in Chicago and New York. She was a member of Alfred Stieglitz's Photo-Secession. Bulk of the collection consists of letters received by Buehrmann. Letters from clients (including prominent literary and artistic figures), friends, colleagues, organizations, and family concern such topics as photographic work, exhibits, publication of work, and personal matters. Also, typescripts and translations of Jean Biron's work.
