The Bleecker, Collins and Abeel families lived in Albany, N.Y. and New York City and were merchants, lawyers and military officers. Collection consists of correspondence, maps, surveys, deeds and land papers, military records, wills, and other papers of the Bleecker and Collins families and of John Abeel of Albany, N.Y. Also includes records of the Western Inland Lock Navigtation Co. and correspondence and notes, 1878-1882, of Mary E. Bleecker concerning genealogy of the Clinton and Genet families.
