Mildred Riorden Blake (1897- ), an advertising copywriter in New York City, was active in the cause for world government, peace and United Nations reform. She held various positions with the World Federalists, USA and the United World Federalists. Collection consists of Blake's correspondence and professional writings, and documents from various world government organizations. Correspondence, 1948-1952, 1967, concerns her work for world government; writings include a newspaper column she wrote with Mark Van Doren and notes for speeches. Records, such as minutes, press releases, procedure manuals, brochures, advertisements, radio script, and filmstrip, document the activities of the World Federalists, USA, United World Federalists and other world government organizations.
