This collection contains council minutes from the Indian Congress at Albany that took place in June and July of 1754. In addition to the minutes are copies of documents from 1684 to 1754 concerning previous treaties and propositions between New York and various Indian tribes. These items include propositions from the Onondaga and Cayuga tribes (August 2, 1684); letters among Governor Dogan, the British Lords of Trade, and the Governor of Canada; articles of peace proposed on December 13, 1665; and the civil lists of New York (1693)
