Thomas Moffatt was a merchant of Boston, Massachusetts. Collection consists of Moffatt's correspondence with Isaac Sperrin, John Angier of Bristol, England, and others in England and America. Topics include shipbuilding; importation of textiles, ironware, glass, shoes, paving stones, and other products; and exportation of such goods as turpentine, tar, oil, fish, and logwood.
