Scope and arrangement
The Truman Capote letter to Katherine Warner is a typewritten letter and photograph from the 1940s. Capote's letter, which he signed in pencil, is addressed to "Miss Warren" and dated July 1945. The letter contains several other typos and edits with pencil. In the letter, Capote explains the meaning of the story and apologizes to Warner for confusing her.
The photograph is a black and white portrait of an unidentified woman, but is likely Warner in the 1940s.
