Miscellaneous financial records of the Town of Denning, Ulster County, N.Y. include tax assessment rolls for the years 1871, 1875, 1877, 1882 and 1886 (5 v.); the town clerk's record of accounts and settlements with the Commissioner of Highways, 1871-1904 (1 v.); and school district accounts, 1883-1896, kept by supervisors for the apportionment of school and library monies (1 v.). Tax assessment rolls note the names of taxable inhabitants, dog tax, number of acres, valuations, and tax. These volumes are identified as copies, two of which are signed by the town clerk.
