George R. Huntington was a stenographer in Burlington, Vermont in the 1820s. Collection consists of a manuscript volume of stenographic studies by Huntington. Volume contains observations on shorthand, quotations from addresses at the University of Vermont, essay on the history of stenography, and shorthand tables and glossary. Some material is written in longhand.
