Emil Gribeschock was an entrepreneur. Collection consists of correspondence with merchants, consular officials, the State Department, members of Congress, and others, on the establishment of trade and consular relations with Abyssinia, 1904-1906; revision of American tariffs on hides and feathers, 1910-1911, and manuscript of "The First American Trading Expedition to Ethiopia," by Gribeschock.
