Scope and arrangement
The papers contain material relating to Gerold Frank's published biographies of Lillian Roth (I'll Cry Tomorrow, 1954), Sheilah Graham (Beloved Infidel, 1958), Diana Barrymore (Too Much, Too Soon, 1959), and Zsa Zsa Gabor (My Story, 1960) and unpublished biographies of Constance Bennett, Bartley C. Crum, and Dick Haymes. Included are letters, manuscript drafts, final tyepscripts, notes, galley proofs, soure materials, and sound recordings of interviews. There are also press clippings concerning the subjects of the biographies, an unpublished biography of John Barrymore by Diana Barrymore and Frank Singere, a diary kept by Robert Wilcox (Miss Barrymore's husband), 1951-1952, and screenplays of "Too Much, Too Soon."
