Scope and arrangement
The Helen Peale illustrations contain glass plate and acetate negatives from the 1930s. The negatives are reproductions of sketches attributed to the artist Helen Peale. Sketches include portraits of the dancers Anna and Helen Duncan, daughters of Isadora Duncan. There are also portraits of other prominent New York City families and still life compositions.
