Scope and arrangement
The bulk of the collection are newsclippings related to the destruction of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001, and subsequent events and subjects relevant to the terrorist attack; for example, illnesses suffered by rescue workers, rebuilding at the site, and victims' families. Publications include the New York Post, AM Weekly, Downtown Express, New York Sun, New York Express, Village Voice, publications related to DC37 and public employees; and a print copy of TV Guide dated September 29 to October 5, 2001. Additional materials include brochures and promotional pamphlets, postcards, conspiracy flyers, image materials, pre-2001 newsclippings related to the World Trade Center, and a box of donated memorials and condolences from funeral homes in California, a Massachusetts middle school, an Indiana public library, and the city of Glendora, California.
