Includes mostly brochures advertising the lease or sale of properties and spaces within those properties in larger buildings in New York City (Manhattan and Brooklyn), including banks, hotels, offices, and other places of business. Included in the collection are brochures, photographs, renderings, and numerous floor plans. Well known buildings represented include the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building, the United Nations Headquarters, Rockefeller Center, and the Forbes Building.

Arrangement

The collection is arranged by borough or county, and includes materials related to Garden City in Long Island, and Rockland County. Street or avenue names are listed in alphabetical order under the borough or county. Each building is then listed in numerical order by building number, and includes the building name where available. Where brochures use more than one street name or address, typically for a development made up of a number of buildings and streets, the development name is provided. For example, "United Nations Plaza" or "White Beach Condominium and Marina.
