Robert Kovich (1950-1991) was a dancer and choreographer. He danced with the Merce Cunningham Dance Company for eight years before leaving to work on his own choreography. In the 1980s, Kovich performed, choreographed, and taught dance in New York and France. The collection contains photographs and negatives, correspondence, blank contracts, programs, clippings, a press pack, and material from Kovich's memorial retrospective. The photographs include Kovich performing solo and in group works, as well as in more candid shots.
