Edith Worth (1907-1983) was a photographer and photography teacher who lived and worked in the New York City metro area. She is best known for her photographic portraits of children, which she exhibited at various galleries in New York and New Jersey. Her photographs also appeared in Dance Magazine in the 1950s and 1960s.
The Edith Worth photographs are a small collection of oversized black and white prints. Most of the images depict children dancing in a studio setting. There is also a selection of photographs of children on a playground, a mother with her child, and a flower. One photograph of dancing children includes a date of 1957, and the rest of the images are undated.
