Scope and arrangement
The collection dates from approximately the 1960s to 1970s, and contains photograph prints of dance performances, dancers, dance companies, choreographers, and conductors. The photographs are held in folders arranged alphabetically by production title, individual name, or dance company. Among the dancers depicted include Hitomi Asakawa, Thierry Bosquet, Jean-Francois Bouchard, Antonio Cano, Louba Dobrievich, Jorge Donn, Niklas Ek, Suzanne Farrell, Pierre Henry, Daniel Lommel, Ivan Marko, Menia Martinez, Paul Mejia, Jan Nuyts, Lise Pinet, Manuel Rosenthal, Nino Rota, Joëlle Roustan, Madeleine Stierli, Victor Ullate, Catherine Verneuil, Gerard Wilk, and Andrzej Ziemski. Many of the photographs contain labels on the back indicating the production title, dance company, choreographer, and dancers. Many of the performances are labeled as being Ballet du XXme Siècle. None of the photographs include a date. Details about those depicted in the photographs are included in the folder scope notes in the container list.
