Scope and arrangement
The collection dates from the 1920s to 1987, and holds photographs of Pinska's dance classes, performances, and dance training. The photographs are arranged alphabetically by name or topic, and also contain a large assortment of images depicting Pinska in unidentified performances and classes. The most prevalent photographs in the collection are those of Pinska's dance classes. Other individuals depicted in the collection include Ruth St. Denis, Ted Shawn, Doris Humphrey, Charles Weidman, and Martha Graham.
