E. Kemp Taylor, sibling of Emma Taylor, housekeeper and so-called niece of E. J. Trelawny, the English writer and adventurer. W. M. Rossetti says in his Some Reminiscences (1906) that Emma Taylor "along with her brother" accompanied Trelawny's remains to Gotha to be cremated. · To William Michael Rossetti, art critic and literary scholar : 1 autograph letter signed : 27 Aug 1881 : (T'ANA 0014a) : 2 ¹/₄ pages (double sheet) : from Deutscher Höf, Gotha : begins, "My sister wishes me to write a line to tell you of our safe arrival here of the receipt of your letter . . . ." Along with a three-line note by Rossetti (T'ANA 0014b) explaing the letter "relates to the journey for cremating Trelany's remains.".
