Lady Isabella Somerset, née Somers-Cocks, English temperance activist and campaigner for women's rights. During her marriage she became known as "Lady Henry Somerset"; after separating from her husband she adopted the style of "Lady Isabella Somerset.". · To Archibald Campbell : 1 typescript letter signed (with ink signature stamp) "Isabel Somerset" : "Wednesday" Sep 1893 : (MISC 1691) : 1 page (double sheet) : from The Cottage, Reigate : begins, "I was much interested by the letter you were kind enough to write me ..."; along with a typescript letter to Campbell, on Lady Isabella's behalf, from Frances Willard, the suffragist.
