John Forsythe, American actor of stage and television. He starred in several highly popular TV series, including Bachelor Father and Charlie's Angels, and is probably best known for his portrayal of oil tycoon Blake Carrington in the long running 1980's prime time soap opera Dynasty. · To Carl H. Pforzheimer, investment banker, philanthropist and collector : 2 autograph letters signed : 5 Nov - 27 Nov 1953 : (MISC 1430a-b) : the first letter complying with a request for certain lines from Forsythe's performance as Fisby in the Broadway production of Teahouse of the August Moon ; the second letter is in thanks for Pforzheimer's gift of a box of candy.
